In-Game Updates (LIVE from the ballpark): James Cooper leads off the game with a long double to left field that Michael Hernandez had all kinds of trouble with…Kennard Jones has moved him over to third, and Scott Spiezio is up with one out…

And Spiezio singles to short center to plate Cooper.  1-0, Bears, T1.

Daryle Ward whiffs, Spiezio’s nabbed at second by Jason Belcher…good for Belcher, the second man he’s thrown out this year.  Strike em’ out, throw em’ out gets Monti out of the inning at 22 pitches, and Somerset trails, 1-0, heading into B1.

Wayne Lydon golfs one out over the right center field fence…1-1 game.  Leadoff bomb for Lydon, his first home run of the year.

1-1 heading into T2.

Two four pitch walks this inning for Vince Perkins…he eliminated the first one with a 4-6-3 DP, but Joe Burke’s on with two outs for Vito Chiaravalloti…who has come out to a Michael Jackson song.  The man does a KILLER MJ impression…very appropriate choice of music.

Tied going into T3…

James Cooper has been on fire this series…he drives in another run and gives the Bears a 2-1 lead heading into T3.

Tim Raines, Jr. triples to tie the game at two, B3.

RBI groundout for John-Ford Griffin…3-2, Bears, T4.

Infield single for Elliott Ayala…3-3, B4.

Wayne Lydon gives Somerset the lead after Spiezio makes a just awful, shot-put of a throw to second when he had no chance to get the runner.  4-3, Somerset.  This one’s clearly going back and forth…

That’s it for Jason Monti…he’s out after six.  Carlos Hines is in for the 7th.

Vince Perkins out after six innings of work as well.  Michael Mehlich in to relieve.

Noah Hall steals third and then scores when the throw skips into left field…5-3, Patriots, B7.

And Somerset starts to pull away.  Joe Burke laced a standup double to the right center field gap and puts the Patriots up three in the bottom of the 7th.  6-3, Patriots, B7.

Brian Henderson in for the eighth…

And Ryan Houston comes in to close this one out in the ninth…
