In-Game Updates (LIVE from the ballpark): Pretty easy inning for Josh Miller right there.  Two quick F-7’s and a 4-3, and he’s out of the first in just eight pitches.  It’s 0-0, heading into B1.

Wayne Lydon with a leadoff double down the left field line…but he’d be stranded at third.  0-0, going into T2.

Just spoke with Joe Holden — along with Courier News colleague Ryan Dunleavy — for about fifteen minutes.  He’s doing a lot better and is, from what I’ve heard, looking a lot better than he was…that’s a scary injury, and I’ll have something about that tonight or tomorrow.

0-0, going into B3.  At one point, Josh Miller had thrown 21 of his first 24 pitches for strikes.  Impressive.

And Somerset’s on the board.  Elliott Ayala led off the inning by reaching base on an error by Bears shortstop Stephen Shults…he got to second on a wild pitch, and scored when second baseman…yes, second baseman Tim Raines, Jr. singled to center.  Raines got to second, just beating the cutoff man’s throw.

Noah Hall singles, and Raines is nearly thrown out after rounding third by way, way too much.  Travis Anderson held him up the whole way, and he certainly would have been out.

A Scott Spiezio sac fly has got us tied, 1-1, T6.

1-1, heading into T7.

Tim Raines, Jr. with a leadoff triple in the bottom of the 8th.  Somerset clearly threatening here…

Josh Miller out after nine innings…Ryan Houston for the 10th.  1-1 game.

Raines leads off the 10th with a double…something about leading off an inning and getting an extra base hit…

Hall bunts him to third…Hagen and Belcher are intentionally walked with one out to load the bases for Michael Hernandez.

And Hernandez with a single down the left field line wins it…2-1, Patriots win.
