In-Game Updates (LIVE from the ballpark): Chris Walker with a leadoff double to right…Kyle Haines advances him  to third on a terrible bunt…but Mike Hernandez — playing miles out of position at first base — hesitated a bit on the throw to third.  Noah Hall was also working out at first base before the game.  Worth noting.  Still scoreless in the first, but for how long?

Matt Hagen bails out Justin Jones there…a nice play on a Jason Botts grounder to his left at second base, and an even better turn of the double play ball.  Jones needed around 10 pitches to throw just 17 pitches that inning…not a fast worker, that Justin Jones…but he escapes unscathed and we’re scoreless heading into the bottom of the first.

And Wayne Lydon with a leadoff bunt single to the left side for Somerset…not a big surprise up here, but apparently it was to Camden.

Lydon steals a base…again, hardly surprising.  The throw actually appeared to beat him, but the ball bounced away from the shortstop.

Matt Hagen with an RBI groundout…1-0, Somerset, B1.

Outstanding diving play by Camden’s Chris Malec at first base to rob Michael Hernandez and possibly save a run as well.  We’re through one here in Somerset…1-0, Patriots.|

Noah Hall’s RBI single through the left side in the third inning makes it 2-0, Somerset.

And Hall’s banged up on a successful stolen base attempt.  Looks like he caught his lower right leg on the Camden infielder who was covering the bag.  He tried to get up to advance to third and could not…Ryan McMahon is out there now.

Hall stays in the game…

Camden with a shot of Padron…Raul Padron with a long double to left center field gap off of Jones in the 5th…we’ve got a 2-1 game right now.

Correction.  2-2.  Brian Burgamy with a double to the right center field gap.

Cesar Suarez continues the double party…he hits one down the left field line, and it’s 3-2.

Nice play by Jones to back up a throw…saved a run with a sliding stop at the very edge of the Camden dugout.

And we’re tied again…Wayne Lydon’s single knots things up, 3-3, bottom 5.

Lydon stole second and third and scored on a fielder’s choice after a routine ground ball to first by Joe Holden.  That’s four steals tonight for Lydon, who is one away from tying the Patriots record of five, set by…you guessed it, Billy Hall.  4-3, Somerset, B5.

Overall, a nice outing by Justin Jones…who’s out after 6 1/3 in favor of Brian Henderson.

Knox out after six…Bill Muldowney in for the Riversharks.

Joe Holden doubles Somerset’s lead with a single to right field…5-3, Patriots, B7.

So, Noah Hall is fine.  After a triple, he scores on a wild pitch with Matt Hagen at the plate.  6-3, B7.

Jeff Kennard’s in to pitch the 8th.

Former Patriots great Jeremy Lewis in for the 8th on Camden’s side of things…

Bases loaded, no outs…Iggy Suarez up with a chance to become Iggy Pop.  6-3, B8.  Ryan Houston’s been up for a while now in the bullpen…if they score here, it might be wise to get one of the other 13 pitchers on the roster going.

And it’s a two-run single for Suarez to left…8-3 now.  Still no outs.  Jeremy Lewis not exactly shoving it up his old team’s rear end here.

Joe Holden’s groundout turns into two runs…Cesar Suarez — he of the spiked throw the other day — buries another one and Somerset has turned this into an NFL game.  10-3, late in the fourth quarter.

Kennard comes back out for the 9th…

Richie Robnett with an RBI single off of Kennard in the bottom of the 9th…that’s Thunder on Thunder crime…10-4 now.
