In-Game Updates (LIVE from the ballpark): Justin Jones threw 17 pitches in the first inning…7 of them strikes.  Rich Giannotti got to third on consecutive stolen bases, but Jones got out of it and we’re scoreless heading into B1.

Joe Burke with a solo home run to right field that just kept carrying…it also carried the Patriots to a 1-0 lead here in the bottom of the third.

And Noah Hall with a two-run single makes it 3-0 in the third…good baserunning by Joe Holden gets that third run across.

Pete LaForest’s RBI single makes it 4-0…getting out of hand pretty quickly here.

Octavio Martinez with an OUTSTANDING diving play on a botched Tim Raines, Jr. bunt…he barehanded it while diving, and then threw out the runner at second to get a double play.  One of the best plays you’ll never see again.

Holden with a two-run homer to right field…6-0, bottom 4.

105 pitches, 59 strikes for Justin Jones…hard to believe he’s made it through six innings having allowed no runs and five hits, and yet here we are.  6-0, Patriots, B6.

Burke with a long double off the center field wall…it’s now 7-0, B6.  Good day to be named Joe here in Somerset.

Brian Henderson in to pitch for the seventh inning…

Casey Benjamin with a two-run double here in the 9th off of Ryan Houston…9-2 game.
